High School

Trinity High School is a three year program for students in 9th through 11th grade meeting once per week.

Jonathon Burt

Jon has been involved in Christian education for over twenty years – first as a board member, then social studies teacher at Kentview Christian High School, then as an Adjunct and later Assistant Professor of History at Northwest University. Jon has five degrees – three in history and two in computer science. He has managed restaurants, worked on farms and in orchards, was a carpenter for seven years, and worked fifteen years as a software cost analyst for Boeing Military. His desire is to create space for students to explore, examine, and question on their own, so that when they arrive at knowledge, they know how they got there. He believes that ownership of the steps in the journey is the true foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Jon has been a Christian for forty-four years, married for forty-one, is father to three wonderful sons, and grandfather to five.
